“Good to Very Good (G 6 – VG 8, Problem Note)Paper & Preservation: Extensive Circulation Wear: Heavily circulated with overall paper softening, rounded corners, multiple cross folds, and general handling wrinkling throughout. Staining: Prominent rust/brown oxidation spot situated between the left serial number and Lincoln's portrait, along with noticeable mottled circulation toning across both the obverse and reverse. Margins & Edges: Edge roughness with small frays along the outer border, though major structural tears through the design itself appear absent. Ink Integrity: Overprint blue ink on the Treasury seal, large numeral "5", and serial numbers remains fully legible.”
